Individual therapy

When you enter psychotherapy, you make a commitment to pursue a more satisfying life for yourself. Different things may get you to this point - relationship problems, anxiety, stress, pain, or just general dissatisfaction, to name a few. However problems appear in your life, they present an opportunity for you to grow into someone wiser and more capable. It's the chance to create more of the life you want to have.

Through a series of meetings, you and I can work together to understand what's getting in your way and map out a path to resolve the pain and struggle. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, I bring together the experiences of mind, body, emotions, and spirit, when appropriate. By bringing compassion and curiosity to our work together, we can create an atmosphere of acceptance and non-judgment. We can look truthfully at whatever in you is longing for relief.

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves...

Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting-
over and over announcing your place
In the family of things.
